Unknown Maker Pintail Drake Ed Snyder Paint

Stylish pintail drake by an unknown San Francisco Bay maker. The paint is applied by the collectable early California maker, Ed Snyder (Rio Vista, CA). It is possible that Snyder carved this decoy as well. This exact decoy is pictured on page 640 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. Measures 18” in length. Two inches of the tail end has had professional repair.
