Solid carved redwood green-winged teal drake circa 1940s by an early San Francisco Bay maker that was obviously heavily influenced by Richard Janson. There are some similarities with the decoys made by John Ferreira (Vallejo, CA) and could have certainly been made by him. This wonderful little teal is in original paint with some crazing on the head. Measures just over 12” in length. Note the neck crack.
