Luigi Andreuccetti Mallard Drake

A super rare and highly collectible mallard drake by Luigi Andreuccetti (Sacramento, CA) ca. 1953. Constructed of cork on board with redwood head and painted tack eyes. Paint is excellent and all original with a warm patina. Measures 15” in length. See page 507 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller for a similar example.
