John Ghio Mallard Pair

Super rare palm frond mallard pair by John Ghio (Stockton, CA) ca. 1940s. Only 18 known to exist. Excellent and all original paint on both. The drake is the exact decoy pictured on page 464 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. The drake measures 16” in length and the hen is 14.5”. The drake has a unique swing weight attached.
