Excellent and all original paint on this fine hollow carved black duck from the J.M. Hays Wood Products Company (Jefferson City, MO) ca. 1920s. Number 7 Grand Prix model. This exact decoy is pictured on page 191 of North American Factory Decoys by Kenneth Trayer. There is a small tail chip. Measures 18” in length.
