Jerry McLellan Black Brant

Solid carved redwood Pacific black brant by Jerry McLellan (Eureka, CA) ca. 1950s. Old in use repaint. Note the inserted hardwood bill and small chip on the right side of the face where it meets the bill. Very pleasing form. See page 70 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. Measures nearly 18” in length.
