Herman "Junky" Fuhrmann Pintail Pair

Wonderful pair of pintails by Herman August “Junky” Fuhrmann (Berkeley, CA) ca. 1939. Constructed of cork on redwood board with inserted boxwood on the tails and raised wingtips. Rig mates in good and all original paint. This exact pair are pictured on page 260 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. The drake measures 19” in length and the hen is 16”.
