George Boyd Miniature Wood Duck Pair

A rare and early pair of 4 inch miniature wood ducks by George H. Boyd (1873-1941), Seabrook, NH. In original paint with expected craquelure. The hen has a crack in the neck and both have minor wear due to 100 years of gentle handling. Similar later carvings are illustrated in Finely Carved and Nicely Painted by Jim Cullen. Former B.
