Elmore Camp Canvasback Drake

Solid carved redwood with pine head on this rare canvasback drake by Elmore Camp (Vallejo, CA) ca. 1940. All original paint and condition. Camp was a ship fitter on Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo from 1918-1923. This exact decoy is shown on page 182 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. Measures 13” in length.
