Bill Neal Mallard Pair

Excellent and original solid carved working mallard pair by Bill Neal (Sonoma, CA). Six raised primary feathers with carved shoulders. Measures approximately 17" in length. Unsigned and in lightly used condition. I'd estimate this pair to be earlier than most examples and likely dating to the mid-80s. See pages 154-158 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller.
