Ben Aguirre Mallard Pair

Excellent and all original paint on this fine pair of mallards by Ben Aguirre (Oakland, CA) ca. 1939. Constructed of cork for the bodies and sugar pine for the heads. This exact pair are pictured on page 236 (upper right) of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. Each measures approximately 16” in length.
