Amiel Garibaldi Pintail Drake

Very rare pintail drake from Amiel Garibaldi (Sacramento, CA) ca. 1940s. Style #4 as discussed on pages 521-530 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. Paint is excellent and all original. Some chipping of paint on the top of the head. The bottom is signed by the maker. The consignor of this decoy purchased this fine example from the early California collector, Bill Mori in the early 1980s. Mori acquired it directly from the maker. Measures approximately 18” in length.
