Mint William McLellan Brant

A mint, unrigged, unused Pacific Black brant by William McLellan (Eureka, CA) circa 1930's.  This decoy was purchased directly from the maker by the one of the original California decoy collectors, Jim Keegan.  Slight abrasion from transportation.  Price: $5000


Merven Olsen copy of a Capt. Olsen Brant

Here's a unique one...A mint, Pacific black brant by Merven Olsen (Eureka, CA) made in the style of Captain Olsen, circa 1968.  This decoy was purchased directly from the maker by one of the original California decoy collectors, Jim Keegan.  Merven Olsen was a neighbor of Bill McLellan.  Olsen copied a rig of 12-15 decoys off of a Capt. Olsen brant that was on display at a local Eureka tavern.  Unique top hollowed construction with 6 drilled and filled holes.  Price: $2500
