Welcome to our website dedicated to vintage waterfowl decoys of the
Pacific Coast, Westcoast-Decoys.com.

Among decoy collectors the west coast is known for producing such talented decoy makers as Richard "Fresh Air Dick" Janson, Horace "Hie" Crandall, Charles Bergman, William McLellan, Ed Snyder, Charles Pice, Captain Olsen, Amiel Garibaldi and Jerry Mastin.  Along with the great cast of well known makers are numerous other less well known, or even unknown, artisans.

Our goal is to offer some high quality pacific coast decoys by the well known makers and introduce collectors nation-wide to some quality decoys by the less well known California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia makers.

In addition, there will surely be some stray migrants from far off regions.  Over time, we hope to be able to supply our factory collecting friends with the more easily found west coast species.  For example, the mason decoy company seems to have filled far more orders out west for green-winged teal, pintail and wigeon.

The navigation bar at the top of the page will allow you to search for decoys available by region.  If you see anything that interests you, or just want to chat about decoys, drop me an e-mail or give me a call.  Be sure to check back often as I'll be frequently adding some interesting items.  I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd pass this site on to your decoy and folk art collecting friends.

Should you have a need for my appraisal services (whether a single decoy or entire collection), please don't hesitate to ask.

In addition, I handle all aspects of representation including collection management, marketing and auction representation.
Thanks for visiting and happy decoy hunting!
